Project Management Technologies’ Short Presentations For Free PDUs
Presentation #1: Project Modeling – Progress or NOT in the Past 30 years:
This presentation was developed as a request from a project management user group at a major US aerospace company. They wanted a personal account of the presenter’s assessment of the state of the project management environments encountered and lessons learned over the span of his long career in project management. The presentation attempts to tackle this subject with humor and a tongue in cheek attitude, but the message is blunt and to the point. It spans about one hour and is worth 1 PDU. The PMI course code is PMT-095.
Presentation #2: The Primary Obstacles to Project Management and Program Control:
This presentation takes a humorous tongue in cheek examination of the five primary obstacles to effective project management: apathy, ego, fear, ignorance, and project management software. Based on quotes from numerous management personnel encountered over the past 40 years – it attempts to examine some of the underlying issues that hamper effective project management. Like our other short presentation, this attempts to tackle this subject with humor and a tongue in cheek attitude, but the message is blunt and to the point. It spans two hours and is worth 2 PDUs. The PMI course code is PMT-096.
